Stockholm Jazz Festival - Tobias Grim Kvartett live på Nomad!

Guitarist and composer Tobias Grim brings together a quartet featuring some of the Nordic region's most expressive improvisers. Together with Brazilian bassist Rubem Farias, Dutch chromatic harmonica player Armand van Wijck and versatile percussionist Ola Bothzén, the ensemble creates a distinctive sound where modern jazz meets Brazilian rhythms, Nordic soundscapes and deeply interactive improvisation. The music moves freely between lyrical melodies, spontaneous improvisation and dynamic grooves. Rooted in the jazz tradition while constantly looking ahead, the quartet offers a concert filled with musical presence, warmth and curiosity, with each musician contributing a unique voice to a vibrant and boundary-crossing musical expression. The concert at Nomad also celebrates the release of the quartet's debut album, Where Are We Now, featuring music from the newly released recording. Joining the quartet as a special guest is vocalist Karolina Vucidolac, acclaimed for her deep connection to the Brazilian musical tradition, adding another rich dimension and vibrant energy to the evening's performance.
