Skaiv: CA2+

CA2+ is the moniker of the electronic music producer Andreas Lübeck, first appearing in 2016 on the Northern Electronics label. His work ranges from detached experimental techno to colourful harmonic soundscapes, signified by noisy rhythms and dubby bass. Combining live coding with a neural network of sound generation, the set is an improvised, site-specific performance on a custom-built instrument tuned to the physical characteristics of the venue's sub-bass driver. Harmonic layers, textures, and rhythms are generated, chopped, looped, and processed live through code — a single continuous flow through a parameter space. No tracks will be performed.
