Sometimes the present is so recycled and the future so uncertain that two steps back won’t cut it. Let’s try a big leap backwards. Forget Y2K and embrace the days of plague, toil and sectarian religious conflict. This Friday, Spice H20 starts their very first installation of a European carnival of debasement, an annual tradition possibly spanning centuries forward. There will be no bloodbath but there will be knights, fire-eaters, peasants and a medieval synth jam. Put on your best medieval look, dance, drink and sing like we’ve done for centuries and centuries to come.

Vox Vulgaris (LIVE) - the shape of medieval music to come - performing post-authentic antifascist medieval music.

Skaraborgs Sista Riddare (LIVE) - an offshoot of the folk music groups Skördetid and CIVIL POLIS - performing folk songs looted from the forgotten archives of the landlocked belt between Vättern and Vänern.

Grace (LIVE) - Gothic chamber pop - performing cathedral chorals reanimated through synthesizer arrangements.
