A Tribute to Dire Straits

After a series of sold-out concerts both in Sweden and abroad, it is once again time for A Tribute to Dire Straits to hit the road. In October 2026, an autumn tour awaits, with stops at selected venues in northern and central Sweden---ready to be filled with timeless guitar lines, musical precision, and that unmistakable warmth that has become the band's hallmark. "Mark Knopfler's and Dire Straits' musical legacy is simply timeless, and it's a joy every time we get to meet the audience with it. We are incredibly grateful for the loyal audience that follows us and who, just like us, never seem to get enough," says Totte Rajamäki, the band's singer. The evening offers two generous sets of about 60 minutes each, where the band interprets the best of Mark Knopfler's and Dire Straits' iconic repertoire. The audience can expect classics such as Sultans of Swing, Brothers in Arms, Walk of Life, Romeo and Juliet, Tunnel of Love, and Money for Nothing, mixed with other well-known favorites. This is more than a tribute. It is an entire evening where emotion, craftsmanship, and the joy of playing take center stage, giving the audience the chance to experience the music the way it's meant to sound: close, genuine, and full of energy. An evening well worth remembering. Recommended age: from 13 years. Sara kulturhus Terms and Conditions
