A Swarm of the Sun are a Stockholm-based duo crafting colossal, emotionally devastating soundscapes somewhere between Swans, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Neurosis and Cult of Luna, blending towering heaviness, drone textures and fragile melodic intimacy into something uniquely their own.

Following the release of their fourth album An Empire via Pelagic Records, the band continue to establish themselves as one of the most uncompromising voices in contemporary heavy music. Over the years, A Swarm of the Sun have toured Europe alongside The Ocean and performed at renowned festivals including ArcTanGent, Dunk!Festival and Damnation Festival.
