NONAGON Festival

Audiovisual art and experimental music festival in the oil cisterns of Svanö, Ådalen. The festival opens by the river with Lamour on July 16. Opening night is free entry for all.NONAGON is an artist-driven association creating audiovisual experiences in boundary-defying formats and unique settings, far from the traditional venues. Our mission is to craft unforgettable art and music experiences for both visitors and creators, where the lines between art forms are blurred and blended. On July 16–18, 2026, we host the fifth edition of the NONAGON Festival at the abandoned oil cisterns on Svanö in Ådalen. These massive, cylindrical spaces, with an impressive reverberation of up to 25 seconds, becomes a living instrument for musicians and artists to explore. Nonagon's goal is to be a driving force for experimental and innovative audiovisual art. We invite musicians, visual artists, sound and performance artists to come together and create in these one-of-a-kind spaces – where art takes unexpected and boundless forms.
